At Eye Associates, our goal is to promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept several types of vision insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. We inform our Chadds Ford, Harleysville, Lansdale and Schwenksville patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. If you require a breakdown of costs, please let us know.
We participate with most vision insurance plans as well as most major medical plans. The fees are based on a combination of the level of skill and training required for the service provided, the time involved with direct patient contact, and indirect time associated with review of laboratory data, prior medical records and reporting of findings to your referring doctor. The office staff will be happy to discuss fees with you and fully explain billing and reimbursement procedures.
The following are major vision insurance plans that all of our offices are current providers for:
We strongly recommend you verify your vision benefits with your insurance carrier prior to scheduling your appointment.
If you find we are not a current provider of your vision coverage we will be happy to print you a detailed, itemized receipt of your charges in order for you to submit the services for reimbursement from your insurance company.
Many employers are offering Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options to employees. Sometimes these are referred to as cafeteria plans and are elective, supplemental insurance savings plans. These plans are designed to let you save money in an account, pre-tax, to pay for additional medical expenses such as eye exams, glasses, contacts, and often laser vision surgery. Check with the benefits administrator at your work to see if you are eligible for this program. FSAs can typically be used in conjunction with any vision insurance plan to offset any out-of-pocket costs on your behalf.
Our staff understands that cost is a concern when evaluating vision care providers. We do not want cost to be an obstacle to maintaining proper eye health and good vision. We accept various forms of payment and are able to discuss financing options with you prior to any examination. At Eye Associates, we also accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
