Optometrist

Dr. Jack Forrest is a board-certified optometrist practicing at our offices in Harleysville, Lansdale, and Chadds Ford, PA. Dr. Forrest graduated from La Salle University Maxima Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology. He then went on to obtain his Doctorate of Optometry from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University (PCO). While at PCO, Dr. Forrest was enrolled in their 3-year Accelerated Doctor of Optometry Scholars Program, the only accelerated program in the country, and graduated as the valedictorian of his class. During his time at PCO, Dr. Forrest received several awards and scholarships for outstanding academic achievement, clinical expertise, and practice management skills.
Dr. Forrest has a wide variety of interests within the realm of eye care, including primary eye care, management of ocular pathology such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease, dry eye treatment, binocular vision disorders, and specialty contact lenses. Dr. Forrest received clinical training at the world-renowned Wills Eye Hospital in the diagnosis and management of binocular vision disorders following traumatic brain injury, and also in the fitting of specialty contact lenses for patients with irregular corneas and other ocular pathology. He leads our team in treating patients with binocular vision disorders through individually designed vision therapy plans, and also in fitting specialty contact lenses, including scleral lenses, rigid gas permeable lenses, orthokeratology lenses, and custom soft lenses. In his time outside of the office, Dr. Forrest enjoys traveling, golfing, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with his family.
